Tube DAC ?

I posted this in analog and was told it should be here.

My system: McIntosh C 500 tube pre

Berning ZH270 amp x 2

TT , DCP and Merlin floor speakers

My question is, would a tube DAC help or hinder?

I would try both one or so with tubes and without.
