Tube Amp For Bi-Amping Tweeters
I’m interested in playing with a low wattage tube amp to use just on the tweeters of my open baffles. I need a volume control and think probably a watt or two would be sufficient. I definitely don’t want anything over 8-10 watts. This would be a future purchase but I don’t think I’d spend over 1,500, preferably a good bit less. I’d like something single ended with zero feedback and want to keep the tube count low, 4 maybe 5 tubes. Some of the amps I’ve been interested in so far are Allan Eaton 45, Coincident Dynamo, LTA Microzotl, Dennis Had Inspire. Far as sound signature I’d like as much as extension and air I can get as long as things stay smooth. Interested too see what you all think would sound good and of course if anyone has played with this I’d love to hear your experiences.

@buellrider97 Hello. You sent me a direct message but I can't message unfortunately so my answer I hope reaches you here. Yes you can use the MoFi 888 with tube amps. You have ample power, so provided they're linear tube amps, you're all good |
@kofibaffour , Thanks, @ditsa +1 excellent choice . To the OP, I would definitely like to know which way you go for my future considerations. |
