Transparent Speaker Calbes - Reference XL vs. MM2 Super

I"m looking into Transparent Audio speaker cables, used an new. There are a couple of pairs of Reference XL's on the used market that cost about the same as a new pair of the current model (MM2?) Supers. Anyone familiar with the differences between the XL line and the MM2 or current design? Any opinions about these two options?
Thanks!

Welcome! robertbrook
Big fan of Transparent cabling here. I like to advice that if you are putting together a more vintage system, the XL series is appropriate.
The MM2 series is still very relevant today. Specifically, the Super, is a sweet spot within that line-up. From the Super model, one must move up the chain to Reference/Opus to hear significant improvements.
Must of this will depend on your gear.
I have not auditioned the newer Gen5 cables/power cords to date.
Happy Listening!
MM2 is not the current model i believe they call it Gen 5. MM2 was right before it. I have the Reference mm2 speaker cables and the Reference XL in MM2 XLRs. The Reference mm2 and higher  are calibrated for the equipment they are attached to and this does make them sound better. The MM2 was is better than the previous models. The Gen. 5 are supposed to better the MM2. Other than listening to the Gen. 5 cables at the audio shows for a couple of minutes. It would hard to say what the differences is. If you contract Transparent Cable they will tell you what they feel is the difference and what level match up compared to the older cables. Good luck
