@bdp24 thank you for this--was not familiar with either of them--my sister used to be my source of artists i'd never heard but sadly she's in nursing home now. I love these threads with artists i don't know yet. I just listened to these two girls version of Ol 55--it's pretty good too!

@bdp24 I am also the oldest--beat my twin sister out by 8 minutes😀 But my sister a year younger was on the vanguard of music and everything else growing up and she turned me on to SRV, Little Feat, Joe Bonamassa, Jimmy Buffett and others all long before any of them became famous. Sadly her pace of life caught up to her. I've tried to explain the feeling of music to my wife but she doesn't get it--anything played louder than 30db is too loud for her--thank God i have a music room! |
