Tony Bennet Live

Tony Bennet sold out the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall last night (11-05-2014), and it's no wonder. At four score and eight, no one can touch him. He sang for a good 75 minutes, and finished the show by praising old theaters like the "Schnitz" for their beauty and acoustics and then, setting the mic down, belted out the last tune w/o amplification. 2800 concert goers were eating out of his hand. Bennet was probably the oldest person there, and the youngest was probably my 13-year-old daughter, who got his autograph. Most moving concert I've ever been to, bar none.

I wish I could have been there, I saw Tony Bennett nearly 40 years ago. Unforgettable. My mother used to tell us how she discovered him in a small club in New York City in the 1940s.
I envy you Stewie, Bennett is a National Treasure.
Popular world-wide.

But as I was at a Vienna Boys Choir in Minneapolis its all good.
