Think Its Possible To Order Tubes From the Ukraine?

Having a set of tube amps being shipped to me this week. Its a pair of Audio Mirror Reflections monoblocks that use the 6C33C tubes. The amps come with one set of outputs and a pair of spares. I was thinking of ordering a backup set of tubes. After looking at the tube sites, the majority of them are Russian sellers, and that is not going to work due to current events. However, there are sellers from the Ukraine of this tube. Do you think a person can order from them and have a good chance of receiving their package?

@jerryg123 I’m really sorry to hear about your health issues and hope you have access to some kind of decent audio system there so music can continue to feed your soul and help speed your recovery!

@jerryg123 What state are you from?  Sure California has its problems being the largest state in the union, but they still manage to pay more into the Federal government than they take in unlike the vast majority of government money-sucking states.  And California is a beautiful state — maybe go see it sometime so you actually know what you’re talking about.

Of course, there is every reason to believe that you support the people of the Ukraine, and with no malice or self interest...but there is the added point... that it does do you good, business wise, to ’support the current thing’, by coming into the thread and telling folks about your situation regarding these particular given tubes.

Why the hell does everything have to be a conspiracy theory with you? Ralph benefits not one iota by sharing he’s been able to successfully get tubes from Ukraine. Give it a rest already!!!

Ukraine is a very corrupt country, war or not. Most of you guys know nothing about that place, do you ? Or about Russia, for that matter, which is also a very corrupt country.

I know Ukraine is now a free and democratic society who is our ally and aspiring to become part of NATO, and I know Russia is the exact opposite of all those things. Please don’t belittle Ukraine by implying they’re like Russia, especially as they’re laying down their lives by the hundreds of thousands and watching parts of their country be completely annihilated to protect and maintain their freedom and to NOT become like Russia. Seriously, what’s wrong with you?

Careful what one believes in, regarding the mainstream media and it’s push.  Look deeper and more carefully.  The Ukraine is rated at 150 out of 154 countries on the world corruption list.

Rated by who and how did they even measure this?  I’ll take and support a relatively free and democratic society like Ukraine over Russia seven days a week and twice on Sunday.  They may be far from perfect, but at least they’re on the right path and embracing and defending freedom as a society.  You may remember 1.5 years ago our own citizens attacked our Capitol building and threatened to kill our VP while attempting to overthrow our election.  That’s not mainstream media BS — that’s a fact.  No country is perfect Chief, so you might be a little more understanding of a government and and society struggling mightily to transform into and protect their freedom and fledgling democracy.  Heck, we’ve been at it almost 250 years and apparently still haven’t gotten it figured out, so how about cutting Ukraine a bit of a break here?

I’d check the customer reviews of the Ukraine supplier and just ask if they can deliver and take them at their word but also ask about their refund policy if items don’t arrive for whatever reason.  If they don’t deliver their reputation and future business will be severely damaged and I doubt they’d want that.  I’ll just say what a great thing it would be to take business from Russian sellers and give the business to Ukraine at this time.
