Thiel Owners

As you might have guessed by now, my installation is weird. My PPs are in a corner at 3' each from the corner with their tails near the ceiling. ( I couldn't get 4' due to physical constraints.) Their 45° vertical and horizontal launch from the symmetrical corner fills the room with little to no modes.

Im trying to visualize the placement. Are the PPs each in a corner on the front wall (wall you face to listen) mounted hanging downward?

Now that I understand corner placement it all makes sense. How high off the ground are the coaxial drivers located?
Your distance between the speakers as the crow flies must be about 5-6’?

Hi all you Thiel owners,

What are the best Thiel speakers to look for?
I know 3.7 is at top of list but where does the 2.3, 2.4, 1.5, 1.6 or, 3.6, 6 models fall into line?
Is a 2.4 better than a 2.3, 1.6 and 1.5?
Average or medium sized room.

One Thiel speaker that has interested me is the CS1.7. Its really hard to find anything written on them other than specs. I know the 3.7 are really good (and really large).  The 2.7 is nice too and they are all from the same generation I understand. 
How good is the 1.7?

When it comes to true Jim Thiel designed models with first order slopes/coherent source CS models I imagine the 3.7 is the ‘best’ model or top of the heap. 
After the 3.7......what is most desirable?
2.3 or 2.4?
3.6?
1.5 or 1.6?

these are the most reasonable sized models and I’m talking using in a normal sized room. 
Thanks for comments as I’d really like to own a pair of Thiels at some point and 3.7 is a bit too large.

I think a pair of 2.4s now with upcoming @tomthiel crossover or upgrade kit would be a great way to go. Thank you for the suggestion. 
Does anyone know the status of this or when will be ready?

Could you comment on the difference between the 2.4 and 3.6 and why you are sticking with the 3.6 over the 2.4?  I’d love to hear that as I’m considering those two models. Thanks!

As I understand is that the Thiel 1.5 was/is quite a good speaker.
