Thiel CS1.2 internal upgrades

Hi Thieliacs!  I have owned apair of 1.2’s for about 20 years, and while I really love them I am looking for a way to make them sound better.  I’m thinking that after 20 years there has been ways to improve on soundstage etc.  Has anyone had any luck with companies that are successful?
Of course another option is to upgrade to one of the “cs 2” series.  They seem to all get great reviews but if you have any personal experience I would love to hear good and bad experiences.  I currently run a Creek EVO integrated amp with 110 amps at 8 ohms.  Thank you very much for your help. I’m new to this site but would like to join the Thiel owners side.  Coul you give me a couple ideas on how to join that thread.  Thanks Dave

Feel free to join us over on the Thiel Owners thread. I believe that there is (1)  CS 1.2 owner on the Panel. Good to read that you enjoy a Creek Integrated amp as well. My 1st Thiel Audio demo was with a Creek amp and CS 2.4 loudspeakers. While not the last word in ultimate power, this combo, is very musical to report the least.
Happy Listening!
There have been rumors of upgrades for a while now, but nothing yet. The CS 2’s would offer more useable bass response with an impedance load that would be easier on your integrated amp than the CS 1.2’s. The later CS 2 incarnations would become increasingly more demanding on your current amp with newness.
