Theta Compli Question

HI All,
I understand the Theta Digital Compli Universal player (DVD/CD/SACD - not the Blu) is based on a Pioneer player from around 2003/2004.  Does anyone know the exact Pioneer model that provided the platform? I'm asking because I just bought a Compli with no remote control (got a really, really good deal), and I'm hoping that a remote made for the source Pioneer player will work, since I've been unsuccessful in finding a remote for the Theta.
Appreciate any insights!

Yes - I found a used remote for the Pioneer dv47a on Amazon, so I took a chance and bought it. It works perfectly!  I'm using the Theta strictly as an audio player, hooked up to an older integrated tube amp, and I needed the remote to change the settings. When I got the player, the analog outs were disabled and it would only produce sound through the digital outputs. Hooked it up earlier this week and it works great and sounds wonderful.

@grindstaff  - saw your DM - yes, I'm still using the Theta, but like you, only as a audio source. I just needed to hook the video up to a TV temporarily when setting it up to enable the RCA outputs to pair with my amp. I still enjoy it very much.

The Theta is a keeper!  Has the player been repaired or serviced over the years?

Happy Listening!

@jafant Not that I know of. I believe the hours are pretty low, especially for its age, and it functions flawlessly. It sat dormant for several years before I bought it. Yes, it’s certainly a keeper and it sounds great!
