Vaporwave? I had to look that one up and I still don’t know any more than I did. And if I’m honest, I guess it really doesn’t matter much to me.
The Joy Of Buying Bookshelf Speakers
Good morning, everyone! I have some questions about these 3 speakers: The JM Lab Cobalt 806, the Paradigm Studio 20 V3 and the Rogers Sound Labs CG-6a. I can get each of these speakers for right about $400 to $500 and I wanted to know if anyone here has had any experience with these speakers. I am still thinking and exploring on what pieces to get next for my 2.1/2.0 setup, including stereo receivers and so much more. My living room is small, the living room wall is 12 ft back wall (144 inches) and the wall that my TV and all of the hi-fi gear is 9 ft (108 inches) and I do not listen at loud volumes (neighbors are cool but still). I mentioned a 2.0 system because I am thinking of getting rid of my Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer. If I can get something smaller, like a single 10" or even an 8" subwoofer that would still give my music some girth in the lower end, that would be great. My music tastes are Electronica, 80's 90's Trance, EBM (Electronic Body Music), Dance music, Vaporwave, Bossa Nova, Yacht Rock, and it is all powered by a Marantz 50 watt NR1711 receiver. It's a 7.2 receiver but I am thinking of getting one of the NAD integrated amplifiers or, a Denon DR-900H for stereo listening and not having all of those extra channels empty. (I am addicted to the HEOS ecosystem though.) Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! PS: I will get back to your comments as soon as possible.
