The importance of the wall plug

I'm using Acrolink 4030 with Furutech carbon looking weave at both ends...until I broke the long ground pin on the wall connection.....what would you people do...I know the plug should be replaced but perhaps with a less expensive one?   How much does that plug really contribute....  System is all Ayre with Vandersteen speakers

It contributes.  I run the Furutech GTX(R) Rhodium with that cover.  Best of luck solving.

Your explanation, to me, is not clear.

Have you broken the cable plug earth pin in the wall socket?

Are you looking for a new cable plug and a new wall socket?

I'm currently running Voodoo Cryo wall sockets and they are great value with excellent performance.

Easy to buy a new cable plug.

the ground pin that goes into the wall is broken....wondering if a cheaper plug on that wall plug would make a difference.
