@larryi Didn't know they were in Takoma Park but that's a ten hour drive from where I live so I won't be getting there any time soon. Would really love seeing a review of sorts online. I may just get to a point where I'll go ahead and put in an order.
The Aurorus Audio Quasar
I have a modified version of the Aurorus Borealis. Meaning, some of what I would consider upgrades to the hardware but with the exact same drivers. I am very happy with them as they fit my head, they are comfortable though a little on the heavy side and sound musical and non fatiguing. Nevertheless, Aurorus Audio recently came out with an upgraded version to the Borealis called the Quasar.

I can't afford to buy a pair right now but plan to be in the not too distant future. Currently there are no reviews available via the internet. So is there anyone within the Audiogon community that have either heard them or that know anything about them?
Linear Tube Audio is located in Tacoma Park Maryland--a suburb of Washington D.C. I have never visited them, but, I've met the main players at Capital Audiofest and they are extremely friendly, helpful, and very open about their products (even to the point of disclosing what compromises have been taken for the sake of keeping price down). If they allow visits, by all means arrange one. It should be rewarding. |

@jacoblta I may be able to get to DC, we'll see. LTA HQ ??? |
@wharfy I did see that however I believe a secure deposit is required which I don't have at the moment. Unfortunately I have repairs that are tying up all of my funds. |
@goofyfoot -Aurorusaudio is arranging a listener's tour of the upgraded Quasar. The sign-up date was a week ago (if I remember correctly). Wondering if you can still sign-up to be part of the tour? I believe you get the Quasars for a week and then ship to the next tour destination. |
