Teo XLR

I notice liquid cables are being talked about a bit at the moment so thought I'd share my experience.

I come from a somewhat cable sceptic background. After playing with modest cables I felt there were differences but it was all pretty subtle. The best I came across were Anti-cables which with everything I've seen seemed to offer slightly greater clarity. They've stayed in my system for the past 3 years as it's evolved.

I run an Emm Labs, Muse amp (very underrated)and Kharma speakers with just an XLR between the electronics. I was offered the opportunity to try a Teo XLR in an unfamiliar system a little while ago and was surprised at the difference it made so at the earliest opportunity I tried them in mine.

I've had them for over a week now and have been surprised at just how big a difference they've made. In a system that I've been very happy with the greater decay and body to notes is a revelation. They've added a more natural perspective that I didn't know I was missing. Very impressive.

Sabai,

Get real. What do you use your cables for - calf roping!

I can't imagine any real world scenario that would cause one to worry about a cable rupturing. I don't know about you, but I gently plug my cables in and they just remain in that static state until I decide to gently move them again.

Chicken Little is now posting on the 'gon.
If comparing RCAs, then one might expect a big difference between Teos and AMs or any other RCA for that matter.

If comparing XLR to XLR in a fully balanced system, would the difference beween Teos and any other XLR be significant?

Opinions?

From what I remember, Ralph Kasten doesn't subscribe to the notion that one XLR will sound different than another in a fully balanced system. My apologies if my memory is faulty.
Is it just me or are their others who noticed virtually every thread Musicxyz has participated in results in a plug for HiDiamond cables.

Not pointing a finger yet without more info, but it sure makes me raise an eyebrow.
And it's only my opinion that when someone comes into the forums and virtually every post they make they are touting HiDiamond cables that the possibility exists that they could be a shill, especially when they only began posting in January of 2012.

I just find it odd for a person who claims to have tested over 400 cables and claims to have owned over 300 speakers to begin posting about only one cable company and one speaker. Just saying.

But it could just be me...
Sabai, if you know the history of shills around here it's easy to be suspect given the circumstances on XYZ's posts. My apologies to XYZ if his posts are legitimate.
Glory, could you enlighten us to your detective work. No offense Audionewfie, but your character witness for XYZ doesn't have a lot of weight considering it is your one and only post.

Hey, everything may be legit, but you've got to be suspicious when someone has registered recently and they start posting a rave followed by a character witness with only one post.

Does anyone remember Tekunda and the HMS Gran Finales fiasco? He supposedly tested countless top of the line cables only to pronounce the HMS Gran Finale the winner. Turns out he was selling them.
Sabai, anyone who holds a strong opinion can certainly post here, but if they are new, common sense often says based on experience, their posts may be suspect. Abuse in this and other forums supports the notion that many have posted here trying to sell their wares under the guise of simply wanting to tell everyone about their latest world-beater discovery.

You may not like the scrutiny in theory, but in reality it has merit in this and any other forum.
Sabai,

Wow. Thanks for calling attention to TBG's post about leaky cables. I will certainly make sure not to purchase those particular cables.

Having said that, since TBG's leaky cables were not Teo cables, I am not sure what your point is other than to be a hyper-ventilating sensationalist comparable to a job-killing EPA bureaucrat.
My kitchen cabinet is full of toxic substances. I guess it's a good thing I don't listen to my system in my kitchen cabinet. I would really be in danger then!
And in the "Synergistic Research - NEW Element Cable" thread you responded to Audiofeil when challenged to relate your years of audio experience with this post,

"Too long a story to relate here. And irrelevant..."

Could you be any more hypocritical with your last post in this thread by calling out Taras22 for not, "...taking the time to rebut my points."

What a total hypocrite.
"...the word hypocrisy is not appropriate here..."

Sure it is. You may not like it or agree with it, but I can promise you that there are others here who see your hypocrisy for what it is. The fact is that you criticized Taras22 for failing to answer your charges and at the same time in the Synergistic thread, when Audiofeil called you out, you failed to answer his charge by hiding behind the lame response, "Too long a story to relate here. And irrelevant..."

Amazingly, you have written pages of responses in the Teo thread, but when ask a simple question to establish your audio experience, all of a sudden it becomes, "Too long a story..."

No, nothing at all hypocritical here.

Give me a break.
Sabai, once again this becomes a circular argument. You simply are guilty of the same thing that you accuse others of followed by another denial in some sort of flowery, sweet-smelling philosophical prose about bullying and mockery.

You can spread all of the manure you want in a rose garden, but when folks walk out they know exactly what they have on their shoes.
