Like most of us you probably have a budget. The tweeter upgrade costs almost as much as the speakers. There are some people who like beryllium tweeters and some who don’t. Also ,we don’t know your electronics. Personally ,if my budget permitted I would do the $300 upgrade. I would also ask Tekton if at some point in time if you decide to go for the Beryllium tweeters if they are a direct replacement for the soft domes ie: the tweeters are the same size so no woodwork needs to be done. Also you should ask if you can buy the Be tweeters from them after you have purchased the speakers.

I am asking because I am not sure how much improvement I would get with the upgrades. I am trying to assess if the upgrades are worth it based on Tekton owner experience.

- Should I get the basic configuration withOUT any upgrades?
- Should I get the tweeter upgrade only?
- Should I get the upgrade package only? (upgrade internal wiring, bindings posts and cross over)
- Should I get both the tweeter and the upgrade package?
