Tekton Design Speakers Price Increase

Yeah, it's my first post and in full disclosure, I saw an amp on here I wanted so I signed up and bought it through the classifieds.

Anywho, looks like prices went up across the board today at the Tekton shop. Glad I got my order in at Tekton before inflation/materials or demand finally pushed the cost up. Anyone else drop some stacks on Tektons just recently?

Honestly, the first time I saw the model I ordered (not sharing until I have my review and comparison with my prior setup complete) I took one shocked look at the arrays and thought "this guy got scammed and bought the worlds ugliest speakers. What an idiot!" Those arrays, lord. But then I auditioned them and ever since I had to build a copy- system and get a pair. I'll share more on my build after the room remodel and setup.

Back to Tekton, looks like materials are getting pricey (I noticed lumber went way up at the local box store). But how do people feel about the base prices increasing on models marked "sale" and the sale price increasing? Makes me think of the Shane company radio ads that criticize competition who mark up, put on sale and are essentially charging more. With so many blogs and videos praising a set-price synonymous with the name of the speaker build, for example 3k equaled base DI's (not $3,299) I think this will be harmful. Better to note on the home page that supplier pricing has caused a temporary increase, shipping charge, or something of that sort and that's necessary in this case because Tekton's price-point has so integrated with the product that youtubes and reviews have the price in the title or in the image. In fact, those reviews and video stills are on Tekton's website and show a conflict in pricing.

Get your fire-suits out because Tekton haters will flame. I've never even posted and I'm aware of the Tekton hate group, hoping I can get an unbiased couple of comparisons out there in the future for home mid-fi audio guys who don't care about the technical stuff, just hi value systems for the masses.

Thanks for being patient with a new poster, I'm not a forums guy.

Not using the language you are using would go a long way for someone new posting on here.
Things, regardless of cost, are priced at what the market will allow.
If Tektons are that good and that popular, it only makes good business sense to increase the price.
Say miller,
when you pretend drove the Porsche 959, you know the one glupson actually drove, what did you think of the PSK all wheel drive system? I wonder how it differs from the viscous coupling on my 1988 BMW 325ix.
Oh I’m sorry, I should be asking glupson.....

Moab’s are on order!!!! They went up in price but Tammy gave me the old pricing!!!

So which is the lie, jeff? I'm going to say...both.
I generally find that those who's opinions of things are constantly stated as incontrovertible facts rarely scratch the surface of comparison.
(Would ya get a load of these clowns? I was a PCA Driving Instructor. Drove and rode in all the Porsches plus more high performance cars - race track, autocross, and roads- than they can name if they got together and wracked their tiny little brains.
After wading through your oh so mature name calling, you’ve once again proven my point.
You drove and rode in ALL the Porsches? All of them? There are currently around 110 Porsche models.
Did you drive a 1901 Lohner-Porsche Phaeton? A 1935 Porsche type64?
1948 Porsche type56? 1952 Glockner 356 roadster? No?
How about a 1967 911e 2.2 Targa? 1969 917? 1985 959 Dakar? 1989 911 Speedster? 1997 911 GT1 StraBversion? No again??
And you drove in more high performance cars. Certainly not ALL high performance cars. Yet you state as fact-which it is certainly not to everyone- no other car comes close to a Porsche. You have formulated your OPINION on your experience with a limited number of vehicles. That’s it. Not all vehicles, only the ones you have personally experienced. Yet you state your opinion as if it is a universal truth. It is not. It is merely your opinion. The same goes for audio equipment as much as anything else. Out of the massive amount of choices from around the world which you could not possibly scratch the surface of experiencing, you made your choice of what sounds best to you. Not to everyone. To you.  And we’re the clowns?
By the by, how did you manage to shift wearing those giant shoes?

My, how clever.
On the contrary, I am quite cognizant of the big picture.
Actually my response, though not quite concise, is quite accurate.
There is nothing petty about it. It points out your perpetual habit of confusing your opinion with absolute fact, and a penchant for overstatement. I am just happy you ceased your ridiculous conspiracy theory foolishness. Has anyone come for you yet? Election overturned? Mass riots in every Capitol? Are masks life saving or useless today?
You have much to offer this forum with your in-depth audio knowledge which is quite impressive. Much more so than mine.
It is a shame it most times gets lost among pointless name calling and your "I’ll push you off the swings at recess" responses.
And that, is truly not seeing the forest for the trees.
I'm sorry, I am unfamiliar with Gran Turismo. Is this a video game?
I do not partake of those. Although, when I was quite small, I tried Pong. Does that count? What is your opinion?
But I am sure your opinion is no more valuable than the countless hours Carp played all those same cars on Gran Turismo
The first part of this sentence is correct. His opinion is no more valuable than mine or anyone else’s. Would you care to know why? Because it is an opinion.
It may be more informed than some others, but none the less, still an opinion.
