I primarily use 0.8 interconnects both HFX and ISM On-Board and they perform admirably.
I have used the The One and The Two and these were so much better.
I find the HFX more open and use these from my sources to my pre. I prefer the ISM On-Board between my pre and power amp and between my pre and headphone amplifier.
I hope to receive my first Zero Gold interconnect in a week or so(just bought it on Audiogon).
If happy with the Zero Gold I may have some 0.8's for sale.
I will post my impressions over the 0.8 once it arrives.
Has anybody. not audiolabryinth or his alter egos. Anybody else give me the opinion on what they think of .8 interconnects. Or any of those that are above that level.
Superlative build and top notch sound. They are highly regarded in Oz. Sadly their designer, Colin Whatmough, died suddenly a few years ago but his family have continued the business.
I have the Paragons, the latest iteration has twin downward firing 10" sub-woofers in each box.
I was fortunate picking these up as a demo special from my local retailer. I demo’d top line B+W and comparably priced Wilsons, both good, but Whatmough blew them away(for my taste).
I have found Audioquest/Tara Labs as being my choice of cabling for my many system iterations( using many different brands over the years).
I'm tend to lean to a warmer sound, hence my tube gear.
We like to see virtual systems photos posted as well so we comment and compliment others on their systems and learn from them. I think labryinth, birdiemay (dimebag or otherwise) and woogie should post virtual systems.
Woogie: Good to meet you! Never heard of those speakers, please post info and pics!
Woogie59, That's interesting, never heard of whatmough speaker's, can you post a link or some information about the pair you have?, you are correct about testing different cable's, I'm going to try Cerious technologies graphene cable's for one of my vintage system's I'm building, very cheap for the admission of their best cable's 🤓🤑
Woogie59, You are welcome, I apologize for the hostile rude few on this thread, it's not like this normally, I have talked to mistetnice numerous times, tell him Audiolabyrinth said hello, and ask him if he still lives part time in New Zealand?, cheers
Hey, I guess it's just how things are on audiogon now. I've met some very knowledgeable people on audiogon. They have given some great advice at times. However, there are those times where people become obsessive about one brand and always want to say they have the best, biggest and baddest system and cables. People talking to themselves. Doing cut and paste. Claiming that they know it all. Just baloney! I look at this thread and I shake my head. Some may ask why even comment on it. . Well because what I see here is just flat out nuts. Life woke me up this past year. I'm not spending another dime past what I have right now. I have a great sounding system but probably cost more than most cars. I'm going to enjoy it and shake my head at threads like this. I guess in Audio like in politics. The truth has nothing to do with facts. Lol. Put 20k in wires on 1k worth of equipment and tell us you are the expert!
Not sure what's going on but yes it is the first time I have written on a forum even though I have been on Audiogon buying and selling for a number of years.
I can assure you that my name is Bruce and I live in Sydney, Australia. Best to look up my feedback and you'll see where I reside from the comments made there.
If you google the time in Sydney for this post you will find it is just after 8.15am Sydney time. I just woke up. We have had extreme temps in Sydney at the moment. In western Sydney it reached 47C yesterday and 45C the day before. That's 116F and 113F in your money.
My main interconnects are 0.8 both with HFX and On Board. Very nice and looking at upgrade as money becomes available..
audiolabyrinth, thankyou for your advice, moist helpful.
"Geez fellas. This guy loves Tara Labs cables and started this thread himself. He has been rolling along for nearly two years, posting to the wind and to whomever may read it. Some have participated and others have just ignored it.
Isn't there enough malice in the country/world already? Just let him be for goodness sake. Leave the spreading of hatred to the main stream media.

dlcockrum: Good point,...will try to ignore all his posts from now on!
Good Morning Keith,....if you are asserting that birdiemay, dimebagbirdie, woogie, etc...have no relation to you, 1 or 2 don't hang out with you, no GF/BF thing going on, etc... and you don't know them at all, then their IP connection records maintained by Audiogon would show they are nowhere near you and not using IP Addresses on the same sub-net and even possibly the same computer. I assume you knew this capability exists on the WWW?
Seriously...you are accusing others of impersonating; I think you are wrong about melbguy; he's straight-up and very frank/knowledgeable in all his posts. I truly don't think he needs to have a ghost ID to interact and differ in opinion/otherwise with you or anyone else! Just my 2 cents on posting on some common threads where we don't always agree over the years!
Calvinj, What's wrong with you?, woogie59 and dimebagbirdie13 are separate people, I assure you!, also, dimebagbirdie13 is not new to this thread, she changed her name from birdiemay13, As far I know, she doesn't like posting on these thread's for owning the tara lab's Grandmaster Evolution cable's, people like her avoid's getting bashed over the head for owning esoteric equipment!, I fully understand that!, As a matter of fact, I know plenty of people that do not post for that exact reason.
Woogie59, I say 30% when both cable's have been fully re-burned in, The zero gold has 4 picofarads of capacitance, the new Zero Gold version two has 6 picofarads of capacitance. Starting with the zero edge, zero onyx, zero gold, each step was 30% increase between each model. The new cable line up is substantially more, The Grandmaster Evolution is 50% better performance than the Zero Evolution Interconnect., cheers
Knghifi, The cable’s I mentioned I have either owned or listened to over the year’s, At this time, I only own Tara lab’s zero gold interconnect , omega gold speaker cable’s, and Omega jumper cable’s that I use for bi-cableing that are 10 inch’s long, these cable’s are all model matched, A complete loom, cheers
Hi woogie59, The zero with HFX was tara lab's original Zero interconnect, the performance is between the zero edge and zero onyx, the edge and onyx were introduced after the original Zero. The Zero gold interconnect was introduced the same time as the edge and onyx interconnect's, The zero gold with HFX was the top of the line interconnect until the zero Evolution and Grandmaster Evolution was introduced into the marketplace., cheers
Calvinj, I am not dimebagbirdie!!!, really!, lol!, I know people who have reading these thread's for year's that are not member's, come on man, you need to stop!
Geez fellas. This guy loves Tara Labs cables and started this thread himself. He has been rolling along for nearly two years, posting to the wind and to whomever may read it. Some have participated and others have just ignored it.

Dimbagbirdie13 and audiolabryinth are the same person. Damn this is just sad. This is why I'm so glad I'm done with most of this. I just made an observation. I'm not taking anything personal. Why would I im not going to buy any Tara Labs. I'm not going to ever hear your system. I will never meet you. You will never hear my system. It's just more babble babble babble. Wow not going to bother with this anymore. There is a tooth fairy, a Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot, Santa Claus and massive voting fraud of 5 million. Lol. Really!
Corrections/mistyping while on phone/on the go corrected below;
Audiolabyrinth: I stand properly corrected; you've owned or done detailed testing with EVERY major brand of cables and model thereof in the world,...WOW! For the rest of your response, I am afraid you are missing my point (again). The objection/constructive criticism in my replies are not that you are supporting the brand but rather how you are chipping away at people's perception of the brand by the way in which you simply continue to copy-paste tons of text time and time again. People can find all that out there...please post things that are new, unique and your own opinion. For the record (again) I'll say that what you sent to Tara that's actually on their website under your UserID is great feedback and I am sure, helped some potential or current customer. Also,..please tell your alternate IDs, and friends to stand down.
Calvinj!!! I think you have taken things personally? The way I see things, audiotabyrinth has not!! Done anything for all of you to start attacking one. I have heard a lot of the cables he has spoke of and well!!! Most impressive. If you do not enjoy coming to this thread and learning about what another has experienced in ones life? Then don't come to a forum and think you are going to express what YOU think. Well go on and leave audiolabyrinth alone.
Well!!!! I personally think you gentleman that has been attacking audiolabyrinth? Are just jealous at the fact!!! He has heard the cables he talkes about plus owns them as well. So before any of you all start in on someone, might need to know your facts. I have, due to audiolabyrinth!!! The grand master cables and quite frankly nothing compares better.
I have enjoyed different cable brands. I use a mix of high fidelity cables, clarity cable and atlas mavros in my system. I will be trying the reveal line of high fidelity cables soon. I have nothing against Tara labs. Some of their stuff is good. The posts on this thread have turned me off from trying the higher up stuff. I have decided to spend my time more listening to the music and not cable switching. I see very few posts on this thread from actual Tara labs users. I see the same cable speak over and over and over. I would like to hear from other Tara labs user of higher end cables actually tell me their impressions. Not the same person over and over. At least on the high fidelity thread you get other multiple users of the product chiming in on their impressions. Audiolabryinth I have nothing against you so don't take this post personal I'm just saying. But if Tara Labs thinks this helps them then more power to them. This has actually turned me off.
