Hi Everybody!

I'm back! After several personal problems, i have now more time to discuss with you folks!

I just sold my Taralabs Omega Edge speaker cable to a fellow Taiwanese guy! I hope it will fit his system.
Why did i sell this SC you may ask yourselves?! Well, even if there is a beauty in this cable and plenty of bass, i was not happy with the highs. I think in many system is enough but on my Usher Audio DMD tweeters, the lack of air is clearly missed. Even my Analysis plus big silver oval do better.
Recently i made a disturbing experience. I tried a interconnect that changed my way of thinking about expensive cables : the Grimm Audio TPR (10$ a meter!!!!).
I bought 2 meters, a pair of Neutrik RCA connectors and weld everything all together... OH MY GOD!!!!
The level of detail, depth, wideness, sharpness and emotion was incredible!!!!!
So i began to seek for an explanation and i found the website of mister roger sanders. He explained me the filter role of a cable (great guy by the way!) and if you want the best cable in the world, you should seek for the lowest inductance, resistance and capacitance. In fact, if all those measures are no value at all, it's like no cable at all!
It doesn't mean that you will like the result cause as a filter, a specific cable will equalize the flaws of the electronics. If there is no flaws in your system, the flattest value cable will be the best.
So now i test low capacitance, inductance and resistance cable, starting with the QED silver spiral reference (cheap so not risky..). And Roger is right!!! my system reveal his flaws and his qualities more sharply with that king of cable!
I'll try the Skogrand SC Air soon because of even lower value than the QED...and on Friday, i'll receive a power amp from Roger Sanders because his design is direct power to avoid clipping and everything that shouldn't be in electronic design. You should read his white papers! REALLY MIND BLOWING!

I still keep my Onyx power cable. After several weeks now, it sounds deep and crisp as i guess it should sound. But i'll seek for low value power cable as well to test...
@Audiolab : Hi mate! happy to read your comments as usual! Still a Taralabs addict by the way?!
Did you compare your Omega Gold to the new Evolution series?
@AUdiolab : Didi you compare your gold Omega to the new eerie?

@Jeb : Damn!!! A whole system for the price of one cable!!! Do you think it worst it?
@Rebel: Your message is quite unclear. Do you mean Taralabs Cobalt PC is not good, even when you compared it with the PS audio PC? Did you break it for a long period of time like Audiolab is convinced to "must do before review"?

My last experiences with cables gave me the DOUBT, cause the Grimm Audio TPR is so amazing for a ridiculous cost that i can't go back to expensive cable, even if they are slightly better. I sell my expensive Acrolink interconnect even if it's probably the best interconnects i ever possessed cause i prefer to buy beautiful watches or a house with the money.
I just changed my power amps with the Sanders Innersound power amp (old production but still AMAZING) and the differences are just ENORMOUS! I use a QED silver spiral with it and it's epic. I think i'm going to use cables with real scientific measurements instead of esoteric ones.
Roger Sanders proved me the effectiveness of science among marketing. What's real with a certain amplifier using one specific cable will be very different if you use a different electronic so i must stop and try to find the best for less...
Anyway i just plugged in my preamp my Acrolink PC-9500, a really expensive cable... DAMN IS AMAZING!!! Way better than my Taralabs Onyx.
The presence, the beauty and the micro-dynamics are more sharp, clear and real!
I found good alternatives for SC and IC's but PC are still an issue for me... And now with the PC9500 inside my system, it's clearer that my quest will be hard to achieve...
I don't know if anyone here ever tested the Acrolink? Many reviewer think it's the best power cord ever made...
@Jeb : With those huge Kraken power cords, it will lift your gear or destroy the IEC input??!!
@Rebel : Did you compare the PC-9500 with the Kraken in A/B testing?
@Audiolab: I need the money to buy something else. I will be happy to sell it to you if you want? It's a lot cheaper that the retail price and, right now, Acrolink is out of stock because of the success of this cable...
@Judy: I can't be more agree with you on that! Many reviewers test their new cables on new gear, so it's irrelevant of course!
I test in A/B on the same gear. Can't do blind testing but i should. I really think PC are overrated and overpriced anyway, but optimization is a powerful tool for high-end system and to cable companies unfortunately !
Hi Guys,

If one of you want to enter the TARA LABS world of PC, my Onyx is for sale!
