Tact RCS 2.0S with Merlin speakers
I have a Tact RCS 2.0S with Merlin VSM-SEs, and I wonder if anyone else has done any experimentation with using the Tact instead of the Merlin BAM. Do I need the BAM when I could just use the Tact to boost the bass? I have not been able to find any discussions about this. I assume that, if I use the BAM, I am reducing the amount of gain that the Tact has to use up on the bass, but what, really, is the difference?
