I have the newer 2170 that Lyngdorf makes and agree with your comments on it. Lyngdorf does offer support now in the US.

This amp never was a big success because of poor support. When I bought it, sound was to my ears near state of the art at budget price. Has the world moved on now? How does it compare with the new stuff? Please, don't answer if you have never heard one.
