T+A HVEQ room correction software

I have a T+A PA 3100 HV with the APM board and I have gone through the manual room correction but would like to use the T+A HVEQ software using a measurement mic.  I've downloaded the software on to a windows 11 laptop. The HVEQ instructions say to connect the PA 3100 directly to the PC using an ethernet cable.  I have done that and the network lights indicate activity, but the software will not connect to the 3100. When I ping the 3100 IP address from the PC it does not find it. I can't seem to find anyone that has experience with the HVEQ software. T+A USA support is hooking me up to a call from Germany at some point, but I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions?

You will need an Ethernet crossover cable if you want to connect the two directly and bypass the switch.

Just use the same IP address you used when connecting via the switch and it will work the same as it did with the switch.

Enjoy!

Thanks @rhtowson.   Of course! I forgot all about cross over cables, it's been a very long time since I've had to use one.  Anyways I was able to run the software using the switch and I dont think the measurements suffered form it.

I have the same setup as you have, @mintakax . Using a Windows 11 laptop to connect with my PA 3100HV with APM boards (mounted these myself). I changed the address of my fixed web connection and used a regular UTP cable to connect.

Alas, after being able to connect once, I can’t make it work anymore. Fails with a rather funny remark: can’t load channel "" I can still ping the unit btw.

Is it still working for you?
