If you can't decide as to weather or not you like the cables, I would wait. It seems like something is holding you back that you can't quite put your finger on. Personally, I find that cables that really do a lot to the sound usually don't hold up over time. Something good is usually happening at the expense of something else.
"I like the black bullets on jazz or very well recorded rock they make it sound bigger the stereo sound stage just envelopes the room. However a more edgy sounding distorted guitar sounds worse. For that the silver is better."
That's kind of what I'm talking about. It sounds like making the stage bigger may come at the expense of clarity. Or maybe a phase issue. I would keep the cables as long as your dealer lets you and if you are not sure, hold off. If you are using Cable Co, call them and see what they say. They are very honest and won't try to push something on you if you don't feel its the right thing.
