Synergistic Research Orange Fuse

I have purchased this fuse for my line stage and power amp with great results.  I would like to purchase another for my integrated Tube amp, however, this amp calls for 15A and SR only has a 16A fuse.  Will this cause damage to my tube amp if I replace the fuse with a higher rated fuse?  Thanks for any help.

dhart86- tommylion is saying the same as me and we both are correct.
When my first Orange Fuse burned it was in a new Herron VTPH2A phono stage. So I called Keith Herron. Highly recommended, one of the best in the business. Told me way more than I ever imagined there was to know about these things. Plus being an x-ray tech I x-rayed and so know how these things look inside. That's how I know fast and slo blow are the same.

Anyway, Keith never blew a single fuse not even in testing nor any customer before me. Mine blew the instant the thing was turned on after being off a long time. As with most components the highest amperage draw is right at turn-on when the power supply caps are charging from being empty. That is max current draw. Yes even for high power amps. Right at turn-on.

Next thing he said, you didn't hear this from me, but if you want to use a higher value fuse its all right with me. Won't void the warranty. Won't do a thing. Because fuses do not work the way the so many around here think. But that is another one for another day.

Straight forward: Buy the higher value. Seriously.
Nope. None of mine are exact, all are higher value, some 2x. I've also blown some, which never happened with standard fuses. So they seem to be less than stated amperage. SR has replaced all that have blown by the way.
