Synchronicity: Buffalo Springfield and The Beatles

I just logged on, reading the Forum Posts. I have a promo-only CD playing, "Selections from the Buffalo Springfield Boxset" (which I also possess), and beside being reminded of just how great they were (SO much talent in one group!), I heard something I hadn’t before noticed. When Stephen Stills, Richie Furay, and Neil Young sing the "Do you think she loves you, do you think at all" section in "Bluebird", it sounds startling like the second line in every stanza in The Beatles "Tomorrow Never Knows". Compare ’em! I say synchronicity because I believe the two songs were being recorded around the same time, the two groups being unaware of what the other was up to. 1966 was a great year in music.

I will have to check it out. That box set is awesome, music and sound. One of my all time favorite bands. Very interesting Neil comments about the mono/stereo versions also. I had all those lps but still got the box, for like 15% off which was a great deal and I am glad I did. I was lucky to see Neil with the old Crazy Horse, and Stephen with his band, and CS&N. Those Buffalo Springfield songs are timeless...
