hello all ... I have recently purchased a pair of McIntosh MC611 mono block amps ... each draws 6.6 amperes ... any recommendations on how to protect them from power spikes etc to absolutely assure their protection ? my thanks in advance
If you own your own home, I suggest a whole house surge protector. They are self sacrificial, and don't cost much, though you do need a licensed electrician to install it. But it does give you peace of mind, as well as protecting all of your electrical equipment throughout the house. Bob
