Sumiko Blue Point 2 and Linn Linto

I just picked up a Linn Linto, and have a moving coil Sumiko BP2... the rating on the BP is 47k ohms, but the LL is a MC only phono stage.  Are these going to work together?

Not a good combo. Change one (the cartridge) or the other (the phono stage).

Would make sense to look at a better cartridge that would match up well with the Linto.
