Suggestions Please?

I'm looking at putting together a mini system for a second room to feel a pair of ERA D5 bookshelves. Idea is to have a TV, VCR, Sat cable and disk player in a location where we can use it in the kitchen/patio easily. My options are using the zone 2 from my Pioneer SC07 and running the TV/Video/Sat through the tv or to put together a player/amp combo in a intergrated package (like the NAD L54) or in seperates. I'd like to put a quality 50 watts plus to the D5's and keep the budget to $600 ish. Any thoughts? I really have little experience in selecting seperates, especially amps and most of the vendors are new to me. thanks paul
