Streamer, Dac,with Pre Amp

Not sure what your budget is but assuming at least the $2k for the Eversolo you can look at Innuos, Aurender, Lumin, HiFi Rose, and Bluesound.  Not sure if Eversolo has a streamer DAC combo without preamp.

Separates are more versatile but some want the convenience of all in one.  I also think separates are the way to go but it’s a personal choice.

@soix that was my first thought as well.  But if you already have the integrated why not use that and just take advantage of the things the eversolo has that the Yamaha doesn’t (i.e. streaming).  That’s an awfully nice integrated that you’re leaving half of in the bin for something likely inferior.  Seems like you’ve got some components that do too much of the same thing. If you haven’t gotten the eversolo yet just get a streamer without the preamp section.

I wouldn’t take that review as gospel, you’d need to hook it up before knowing.  What preamp was it used with in the review?
