not really, there is significant difference in tube vs. semiconductor behavior, such as speed, on/off time, etc.. despite tube amps have lower damping factor than SS, attack, transients, phase response with realistic speaker type of loading is better.. SS is better in measurements using ideal 8 Ohm or 4 Ohm resistor, without accounting to reactances of cables, x-overs. etc. of real speakers.
