The Touch is excellent at the price point, but my Modwright Transporter (highly modified) was more refined and more revealing with better separation. I never compared the stock unit though, so could not comment. I think the Touch is a real bargain for the sound it delivers. I was using it with an aftermarket power supply in comparing the two. I use the Touch to deliver a digital stream to my DAC otherwise.
