The Sonus Faber Concertino would be a good fit for your amp. I have had really good results with this particular set up. I purchased my Sonus speakers on ebay for 750.00 a while back and sound amazing with the 2250 amp.

Speakers for Monster MPA2250
I've decided to go in a totally different direction - I just purchased a Monster 2250 power amp for my system. What bookshelf/small speakers, if any, for $1K and under would be good with this amp? I guess I need some real INeffecient speakers - as my Omega 6R's are better suited for my SET Setup or my low watt Dared VP-16.
