I have never heard the VR3. I had 4JR uno in a similar sized room and it had excellent bass so i don't think you will lose any fullness. Of course there is also the 4SR to consider as well.
speaker upgrade V/R
HI, think is time to upgrade my von schweikert vr3 speaker.
really like VR3,sound, but think speakers are holding back the potential of my system, live in condominium my listening room is about 23/14' I'm seriously considering the VR4jr mk11
my main concern is the base, VR3 give me a full sound,
by upgrading to VR4jr will I' loose the fullness of the VR3's.
or it would really be an upgrade:
