Speaker cables with good timbre

As the title says, i would like to hear recommendations on a pair of speaker cables, copper, that have a very good midrange, imaging and truth of timbre or faithful reproduction of instrument sound. As i get older i started to realize i value those characteristics the most when i listen to recorded music. Thank you in advance.

Ignore the wannabe scientific cable trolls spewing buzzwords with no supporting details to back up anything they read and parrot here from other sites.

Remember this, most have never tried an actual audio analyzer to measure frequency response of a cable nor try to understand the affected frequencies passing through a cable.

Passing a consistent test signal, like a pink noise or a sweep tone, sent through the cable to analyze its frequency response across the audible range is one method.

However there is recycled Lamp cord and coat hangers, use whatever you got. If you do test and compare, and still can't hear a difference, good for you, save your money. Happy listening.

Don’t go into a cable section and call it snakeoil or this and that. If you do, you should get banned IMO.

Naysayers don’t take the time to question whether the purity of the conductor matters or not. The type of conductor, the quality of the connectors and the solder process. The geometry. Thousand of different variations. How can a respectable person not take this into consideration.

The connector by itself is a huge variable even though it's just a small part of the cable.

@tkrtrb125 did you actually take a minute to read the qed or analysis plus article links you shared with everyone here?

"Preface

We have always believed that the most sophisticated sound receiving device of all time is the truly incredible human ear, and we both acknowledge and are challenged by how this wonderful instrument can detect the most minute of sonic differences that we currently struggle to measure. Exhaustive listening tests therefore remain an essential element in turning a very good cable in to an exceptional one."

Not all, but clearly some people hear differences.Having tested and evaluated different types of cables for more than 45 years, it truly comes down to the individual and preferences. Not sure what the unrelated vaxx reference is all about, best of luck to you on all of that - whatever the problem is.

@decooney Yes I did, case and point. You should so what of the other two? Fair and balanced boy. yesdevilcrying Love the shmoose like you coat hanger dude.
