Congratulations on your new equipment. Thank you for your report. It is great to hear when someone is very happy with their new equipment and the music it produces.

Interesting you mention Musk. I read an article talking about him buying five  really expensive speakers... ~100K... I think for a gaming system. Then some assistant thought folks were trying to rip him off by suggesting $20K or more amps... and paired them with cheap consumer amps... and blew out all the tweeters... something like that. 

Thanks for your comments Richard. It is likely you will still experience improvement in sound quality over time. From past experience the time to stabilize is different… between components… up to 1,000 hours.

It sounds like you are getting amazingly good sound out of that OPPO. It is great that you have such a large vinyl collection. But thinking ahead, you might think about streaming. You can get the same sound quality and not be confined to vinyl as getting up and changing records is not going to get easier. I’ve got 2,000 pristine albums which I never listen to any more. I now spend my time exploring new music. Just something to think about.
