Sound: Dylan's "Biography", the Boss' "LIve 75-85

Anybody have an opinion on sound quality on these two?...I know sources vary...but what can i expect? Not of fan of muddy recordings...but can live with other imperfections...thanks....

Dylan Biograph is excellent on vinyl. Listen to it a lot and the sound is full and surprisingly rich for a compilation. Don't know about the CD version. Springsteen vinyl set is good in spots sonically, worth having, and good when turned up loud with a libation in hand.
I take it you mean Biograph for Dylan?

It is not one of the more recent Dylan remasters but it is a very good introductory 3 disc set musically. It is not muddy but if you want the most recent remastering then the go for Dylan (bold Red cover, 3CD set)which covers his whole career, Biograph stops back around '86.
The original Biograph on vinyl sounded pretty good as I remember.

The Springsteen set I have on vinyl but haven't heard it in years. A patchy live retrospective imho but some killer highlights
