The Sony will do its magic and output to an analog input. Will the meridian process signal as is or redigitize? Do I need new preamp to hear dsd output from the Sony? Thanks...Brian
Regardless of what type of processing you do, or don't do, all analog inputs are run through an AD converter, even in direct mode. You need to get a preamp.
