I have their Gen 3 sub, which goes beautifully with the Sonos ARC sound bar.
Great. Play vampire survivors for new experiences. |
I bought one of the Sonos small subs to go with a Sinos Beam in our main bedroom system. I am very impressed for both video and streaming music at 'normal' listening levels. If you want true lifelike volumes, this ain't your setup. Within those limits, and down to around 40Hz this little drum-shaped wonder is very impressive - quick and tuneful, bass guitar lines are easy to follow, solid and well defined. The only reservations I have are these - this part of the Sonos ecosystem, not a universal sub, and the Sonos software is simply dreadful. It is unreliable, clumsy, and patched at least weekly. Sometimes the system would lose the sub altogether and I'd have to add it to the system manually. The room tuning software seems to work well enough, provided you own an iPhone, no Android need apply. I was never able to get the voice control software to function for longer than a few hours. None of these issues was a concern if I used the Amazon software. I go to Amazon Music on my Firestick, load it up, choose my music, and go. Effortlessly. |
