F3 sealed on that driver is about 100ish, F3 in a ported or vented box will be 60 or even a bit lower. This is a true full range driver and a rather good one at that. Plus you'll gain 5+ db in sensitivity over the others that you had been looking at. The abundance of human voice runs from 200 to about 1k.... Of course a deep male voice can get you below 100 and a high female voice can get you to 3k or so...

I want to build a single speaker (mono input), that is solely to utilize my voice frequencies. To keep it simple, I want to use a single, full-range speaker. Is there any that you know of that might cover 70 to 4000 Hz? I'm trying for a flat, non-coloured output. Any ideas on a speaker or a box/enclosure/medium type?
