Simaudio moon nova LE cdp

When produced this cdp was well thought of, times have changed but does it hold its own against newer players of today? 
Would u purchase a used nova LE today? If so are they serviceable or have the parts supply dried up? 

What cdp would you rather have it the nova LE price point

Do you enjoy the sound of the Cdp?
If so, why chase after the 'flavor of the month'?
IMO, you will have more flexibility if you use the cdp as a transport and connect it to a DAC, if you are looking for a sound upgrade/change.

I am thinking about the same thing- dvdgreco.

How do the older Moon players hold up? Most importantly, does Simaudio still provide parts/service for these legacy spinners?
