SimAudio Home Theatre By-Pass

Anybody use an i-3 or i-5 with HT By-Pass connected to a receiver? If so do you get a faint hum or static distortion (faint out of any speakers). My old Krell was dead silent, but I used balanced inputs for my DAC and normal line level for by-pass.
