Silver interconnects & copper speaker cable O.K. ?

Is it O.K. to mix and match or should a system consist of all copper or all silver in regard to the cabling?
Does it make a difference?
Does it matter?

This doesn't even cover the fact that the tube vs. transistor issure is a non-issue since your cd player has a one dollar op-amp as an audio section.
