Shipping from canada to usa?

Does anyone have any experience buying an item from canada and shipping it to the usa?  I'm looking at a 75lb made in the usa speaker (used) and i have been able to get a shipping rate, but  I am having a difficult time figuring out what if any duties or taxes will be assessed, or even how to figure that out.
