Shindo Interconnects - advice

Hi all, I'm seeking help on the issue of Shindo Interconnects and the connection of the 'pink' (live) and 'white' wires. I've read in a number of post that at one end (pre-amp) the white is not connected to the RCA outer sleeve, but mine is connected at both ends. Does anybody else have a similar connection with their Shindo IC's?
