Hi all, I have recently bought an AKAI ap006 direct drive turntable as a xmas present for my partner, I have a Wharfdale Linton amp with disc input, can any one tell me if I also need a pre-amp for this set up... Thanks Moz..?
Wow - that's an old amp. I did a quick search and see that it has a "disc" input for magnetic and ceramic (wow) cartridges, so you should be fine. Enjoy.
