Selecting headphones and a headphone amp

I would like to pick up headphones and a headphone amp to use on my BAT system (2 VK-55’s, VK-32SE and VK-D5SE). I love the warm sound of tubes. I have two turntables and listen to analog 75% of the time, so the amp has to accommodate analog and digital. My musical interest includes classic rock, blues and jazz. Distractions are not an issue, so the headphones may be open or closed. I would appreciate your advice and recommendations in selecting equipment, as I am clueless on matching headphone equipment and overwhelmed by the available equipment choices. Thank you for your assistance.

Congratulations on your choice of Stax, not just because it agrees with my recommendation but because you will probably enjoy them without feeling there is something out there that would sound beter. Now that you have heard them, you know what I mean!
Stax + tube amp is hard to beat. I use TAD Hibachi monoblocks with my
Stax as a a more SS alternative and that is a very good pairing. The TADs
are a fantastic value for both Stax and tube friendly speakers in general.
Thanks to all of you. I could not have made this informed decision without you advice and support.
Try looking into the LCD2 with a Woo WA2 tube amp. Read about it on Head-Fi.org. I also wrote a full review on the Woo WA6SE and WA2 with several headphones including the Audeze LCD2.
