Hello everyone,
I hope you're all doing well.
I have a Unison Research Unico Pre preamplifier, which comes with an RF remote control featuring two buttons to adjust the volume (up and down).
Unfortunately, I don't have the remote control anymore.
I'm looking for a replacement solution.
The Unison Research distributor in France told me that the RF remote is no longer available for purchase.
I received partial information from someone at Unison Research, but I'm still trying to figure out how to get a remote working with my preamp.
I've found the RF receiver board inside the preamp.
According to the manufacturer, there is a button on the board that switches the receiver into rolling code mode, allowing the remote to be paired.
My main question:
Without the original remote, is it possible to pair any RF remote control?
I tried using a 433.92 MHz garage door remote, but it didn't work.
For reference, when I press the red button on the receiver, a red LED lights up.
I assume this means the receiver is in pairing mode.
Here’s a photo of the receiver module from a similar device I found online:

It's the same module in my preamp, but I couldn’t take a picture because the board is upside down and hard to access.
If anyone has an idea of how to find a compatible remote, that would be amazing!
Manufacturer’s response regarding the remote:
"Radio remote controls are rolling code and are paired by pressing the red button on the receiver board."
So, this works if you have the original remote... But since I don’t, and I can’t buy one anymore, what can I use instead?
Thanks a lot for your help!
