Schumann Resonator

I got 2 of these from Amazon...careful that free returns are applicable.  I charged them up, turned them on and holy moly.....they do help with my system.   What I hear is clarity....space between instruments, a definite difference in upright and electric bass, wider soundstage...you know...all the good stuff. At first I thought it might be increased brightness, but no....it is still the same in that regard.  I still can't believe it, and will listen again tomorrow (saved the packaging for the return)...but today, I'm about to keep them.

This conversation is wearing really thin.   Those who want to experiment then do so, those who don't go away.  They work for me ....that's all Im interested in.   The reason I put the original post on is to inform there may be a way to make your listening experience more valuable.   Those who wish to close their ears and think they're opening their brain....should be on another forum
I have an all Ayre system.....need nothing better.   One who is really an audiophile will experiment instead of stamping feet decrying "impossible"
Mine are battery powered.   When very close to the speakers, there is a brightness I hear.....I have them on the sill outside of the speakers, about 4 feet in front of each speaker, about 3 1/2 feet above the floor.  If they don't work just return them.  They made a very big improvement for me.
Additional comments on the Schumann Generators (above post).  My system is all Ayre electronics, Vandersteen 5A speakers, VPI turntable/plastic arm/Winfield Cartridge...all audiophile outlets, audiophile cables, careful setup, completely differentially balanced.  I turned the generators on with my wife in the room and she most definitely heard a difference.  She said that with the generators, the music was "sharper, condensed".  I agree... with them, the soundstage opened up, the instruments were separated, greater depth ambiance, etc.  I also noticed that with the a/s on the arm  released the sound was better....I have a feeling the a/s device was adding unwanted resonance.  I also have a Sony walkman with Grado in ear headphones....and with the Schumanns on, the sound was better, although quite excellent without.  I read a lot about this, but still don't understand it....I just can tell you it works.   I walked around the room with them and getting them close to the speakers, the sound was more bright/closed in.   I have them about 4 feet in front of and to the outside on a window sill and about 4 feet from the floor.  The more you listen to its abilities, the more you can focus on as to what it does and the more enjoyment.  It doesn't improve my or my wife's sleep, though the dog is now sleeping the night without bathroom breaks at 3 AM
...just wondering why you chose to order from China direct rather then from Amazon with free return privileges....
You don't need an explanation..   Get 2 from Amazon....about 30 dollars each....easy returns
Re: The man from Uncle......There is no brand name on these things

7.83HZ Schumann Wave Ultra-Low Frequency Pulse Generator & Audio Resonator, Schumann Resonance Wave Pulse Generator with USB Cable & Screwdriver

The screwdriver is there to take the thing apart...there is no adjustments on it.  When you plug it in and it charges there's a green light....when you turn it on (tiny switch on the side) its blue
I don't know what the sturm &drung. is here.   Order them if you want or don't.   If you are the least bit inquisitive, amazon has free returns.  I don't care how these work.....all I know is that they do.
Why would anyone disparage the use of these things.   If they enhance the musical/sonic experience, their existence has been verified.  I don't care how they work...only that they work at all...and indeed they do.   I've had Mk 11 upgrades to components that weren't as efficacious.
...just to make matters worse.....a couple of years ago I read putting some kind of stone (don't remember)in my house electrical panel, it would make my system sound better.  I did.....it did
..and in my system cable elevators had absolutely no effect..either positive or negative
I'm glad you are a music addict because truth be told it didn't have an effect on my sleep.  ...for me its value is in the improvement in sound.  By the way, my 318 must have been built by the midnight shift...it was awful for me....only my Alfa was worse
