Schiit Saga Plus/ Freya Plus vs Quad QC-24

Would a schiit saga plus work well with a pair of Quad IIs? Or should I save up and go for a new Quad QC-24 (now made in China unfortunately , a tad expensive and the phono stage is extra on top of that). I'm having the IIs professionally refurbed to run some ESL57s with a Heed transport and Project pre box s2 or Cyrus dAD,  Thorens TD160BmkII/3009/cart TBC.

The Saga looks like a decent piece of kit and appears to be good value and I assume is made in the USA although no stock here in the UK at the mo by the look of it. Or still less than the Quad the Freya Plus looks good...
