Does anyone know if this preamp has a standby mode that is only accessible by the remote? Is it better to leave turned on if there is a standby mode that can not be accessed if lacking remote?
The consonance manual makes no mention of a standby funcion. Mute and unmute seem to be available both from remote and front panel. The manual for consonance can be downloaded from: http://jeffrowland.com/Docs/ConsonanceManual.pdf
I had one some years ago...It has some functions, which are only useable with the remote. It is designed to leave it on. I think, the Stand By mode is only accessible via remote.
