I can maybe help you a little. Roon is a streamer, but you already have a streamer in your all-in-one. Does your all-in-one have digital inputs to the DAC that would let you bypass the streamer in the all-in-one?

Good morning audio bowers, This is a weird situation.I'm wondering if there's anybody out there.That would be able to serve as my room consultant to help me reset my system.I would be happy to pay an hourly wage if you can guide me from start to finish setting up my new dac/streamer/pre and a used Nucleus( Of course, kindness extended as a long-term audiophile to help another long-term audiophile would be wonderful, but I understand everyone's time is very valuable as well as their expertise. I did this 4 years ago, myself, but w/different gear, and I can't seem to get off square one to get things up and running. I am in MI, was thinking that a phone connection for the help would be great.

PS: if someone has a source for written step by step directions that would be great...when I go to Roon's site the piecing together of threads and opinions, is even more confusing.
