Rolling KT150s in Primaluna hp integrated

Yes on upscale audio.  When tubes were unavailable several years ago, I purchased a quad of kt150’s from an outlet in Canada. Within 8-9 months, three out of four went badly microphonic.  Past the 6 months warranty.  When tubes became available thru Upscale, I bought a new quad, and no problems since then.  These through a Dialogue Premium from Upscale Audio.  I trusted the sales pitch, and I’m happy.   I went from EL34’s to KT66’s to the 150’s. Just love the 150’s.  3 out of 4 bad so quickly was too discouraging. 

While this t thread addresses power tubes I have had a much bigger impact on tuning the sound be rolling the preamp tubes.  I’m using Amperex 7316 up front, Telefunken in the middle, and RCA Clear tops in the back.  Huge sound stage, clarity, and detail without harness from the tweeter.  Works with Led Zeppelin, Norah Jones, acoustic and electric blues, Kenny Burrell, Billy Strings, classic rock, etc.

Quicksilver V4 monos with KT-150s are just killer!!   If your amp can play with this tube, spend the best upgrade money in tube audio today.
